Matt 5:18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."
The Logos
web site has a good explanation of Why You Should Use The King James Bible
The WEB web site has an interesting
FAQ that addresses translation.
For me, I like the King James version and the WEB version. I have been reading
both versions and when I find differences I look in the ASV version to see if
maybe the WEB version had a typo or if it's a translation issue. Please check
ebible for translation status.
I downloaded my copy on November 13, 2007. When emailing the author use "WEB
comment" for the subject to get past his spam filter.
To make comparing easier I formatted each page of the bible the same way and
caused the HTML pages to open thier links in a new windows. If you go back to
the index and click on a second version your newly opened page will have both
versions in its history. Alt+Left arrow and Alt+Right arrow will bounce back
and forth between the two versions. An example might be easier.
Below is the daily reading for March 1st 2003 (the day I started comparing KJV to WEB).
Click on the KJV next to Leviticus 023. A new window will pop up showing you the KJV
version of Leviticus 23. Leave that window open then come back here and click the WEB
next to Leviticus 023. It will appear nothing has happened but when you go back to the
window that had the KJV version of Leviticus 23 you will see the WEB version.
You can now bounce back and forth between versions by using Alt+Left arrow and Alt+Right arrow.
